Don Lane is the Founder and Managing Member of Watch Hill Advisors, LLC. Don is a corporate development professional with more than 25 years experience in market and business management; specializing in strategic planning, stage/gate development processes, and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to founding Watch Hill, Don was Director of Corporate Development for Chemfab Corporation, a NYSE publicly traded high-performance materials, where he was co-leader of the mergers & acquisition program and directed a cross-functional new products R&D / marketing team.

Don has extensive experience in architectural materials, specialized processing machinery, and construction project management. His international experience includes managing the business relationships between a group of European & American OEMs, and their global marketplace. Recently Don directed the manufacture and delivery to Madagascar of 1400 classrooms and 500 units of teacher housing sponsored by the UN’s “Education Pour Tous” global education initiative. He is the founding member of a LLC that designs Open Space / Conservation residential developments in central New Hampshire. Don is also a registered representative holding the NASD Series 62 and 63 licenses, as well as a New Hampshire real estate license.

He is a member of the Town of Bow, NH Planning Board and Town of Bow Business Development Commission. He is very familiar with the workings of NH town politics and regional development issues and opportunities.
